Our main product is Cerasorb®  DENTAL, a new generation of resorbable pure phase beta-tricalcium phosphate that offers optimal purity and performance. Cerasorb® has been successfully used in 350,000 patients undergoing socket extractions, ridge augmentations, sinus lifts and other bone grafting procedures documented in more than 125 publications. A key factor in Cerasorb®'s growing use with US clinicians is its ability to resorb simultaneously as new bone formation occurs. The time frame for complete resorption is 6-12 months for most patiens - unlike older ceramic products that resorbed very slowly or in some cases, not at all.

Furthermore, clinical evidence demonstrates that Cerasorb® DENTAL produces bone equivalent to autogenous bone (see Szabo, JOMI, May 2005), without an extra harvesting surgery or the risk of disease transmission from cadaveric bone, a growing concern for patients.

In addition, Curasan sells EpiGuide® Bioresorbable PLA Barrier Matrix, the only bioresorbable synthetic matrix with a unique 3-layer technology to provide predictable healing. This cost effective synthetic product provides for adjunctive therapy in periodontal restorative surgery and for Guided Tissue Regeneration (GTR) applications to treat various defects.

During 2008, Curasan is introducing two new products into the US dental market:: The Inion GTR^TM resorbable membrane system and the REVOIS® all-in-one implant system.
